Corporate Communication
Our SMS Workgroups application enables small business or divisions of larger businesses to send peer-to-group and application-to-group messages and scheduled reminders in a very user friendly manner. Some of the countries largest corporations are using this technology to facilitate better communications and information flow within Sales, Operations, IT, Customer Support, and other divisions. In a typical SMS Workgroups configuration, each “Workgroup” is given a keyword (ie; SALES) and all members of that Workgroup are instructed to text the keyword to join. When a member wants to send out a text message to the entire Workgroup, he simply texts the keyword followed by his message (ie; SALES Hi Sales Team). In a more advanced form of SMS Workgroups, applications in addition to people can be attached to the Workgroup in order to create a more information rich communications environment. For example, members of a sales team can receive notification of a new lead, or support staff notified of an emergency-level trouble ticket, or IT/Network staff notified of a server or network outage. Adding an SMS supplement to email alerts has many benefits, as SMS messages cannot get “lost in the crowd,” are supported by virtually all mobile phones, and bypass the carrier data networks which are slow and unreliable (yet relied upon by most mobile e-mail solutions).

Using our simple gateway API’s, businesses can instantly “mobilize” their existing databases for internal or external use. Link the mobile phones of your sales, ops, and IT staff with critical corporate databases such as CRM, pricing tables, product information, technical information, and others. For example, to query for the latest price of a product with a product ID # of 4523, a field sales agent could quickly send a text message with the words “PRICE 4523”. Within seconds, the sales agent would receive the price of product 4523 on his mobile phone. Remote Database Query allows coporations to quickly and painlessly mobilize existing databases, including support for both text and binary content via WAP Push.

Many of the consumer-oriented campaigns mentioned in the Consumers section can be used as a promotional tool to generate buzz, branding, and a rapid opt-in database at trade shows and corporate events.. Our clients have launched innovative mobile campaigns at events, including Text-to-Win, SMS Voting, and Reverse Auction campaigns with interesting prizes and branding opportunities. By default, anybody who participates in your promotional mobile campaign at a trade show will become part of your opt-in list of mobile phone numbers, making interactive SMS a powerful lead generation tool.

SMS Property Listing
The real-estate community in the US is fast embracing SMS Property Listings, a type of mobile campaign which enables potential home-buyers to receive instant information and photos of a property for sale when passing by the property. In a typical configuration, the realtor places instructions on the “for sale” sign of a property. End-users send a text message with a keyword (Ie HOUSE123) and are immediately sent the information back to their phone. Our platform can be configured to send back photos and even video to potential home buyers, and to notify the realtor via e-mail every time a new lead comes in.

GoLive! Mobile is working with some of the largest 411 providers in the US to supplement existing, voice-based services with mobile messaging technology. The major wireless carriers released SMS-based enhancements to 411 services over the past year and have received exceptional  consumer response.
